Jonas is an associate of the firm. He is an internationally trained lawyer and a member of the New York State Bar Association. Jonas brings dedication and conscientiousness to his work, and is able to assist clients in both English and Danish. As an associate, Jonas works on all aspects of the firm’s practice including civil and commercial litigation, employment and labour, human rights, administrative, and regulatory law. He is a regular contributor to the firm’s blog.
Prior to joining Pinto Wray James LLP, Jonas completed an internship at Schwartz and Perry LLP, a prominent New York City employment law firm. Jonas also completed a placement with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s New York City office. Prior to his legal career, Jonas worked in management at a leading medical services provider in Toronto. He was in charge of overseeing the company’s regulatory compliance and leading employee training, among other duties.
Jonas is a graduate of New York Law School’s Juris Doctor program, and he also received a Master’s degree in Arts from York University. He is a volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario’s Education Law project and a volunteer mentor with the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law’s Internationally Trained Lawyers Program.
